The fact the PMC youtube only has 3k subs shows how many people are missing out. Hands down cleanest speakers Ive ever heard would love for PMC to sponsor my studio my friend has pmc atmos set up and its the A+ standard of speakers in my book.

I have a ci series atmos dedicated room. Please don't bend to pressure to water down the mix in case people have bad speakers. I'm happy to hear you are pushing against that. Musicians are our last hope for proper atmos. One of the last things movie studios do is the sound mix. By that time the studio has had several delays and the release date is rapidly approaching. The mixer then gets their time frame and budget slashed. So they rush out a half baked atmos mix with very few discrete sounds. Disney is the worst in this regard. Last, I do love the idea of the album on physical bluray and hope that provides a more substantial compensation for musicians who care enough to perform and mix with such an outstanding work ethic as Steve. Cheers!!

I own and use PMC speakers as well as high quality headphones to listen to my music and I love them. But please, please, stop talking nonsense about compressed audio, we are not in the age of 128kbps mp3s anymore, when you get above 192kbps or 256kbps files, almost no human on the planet can hear the difference with the uncompressed file and hearing it, for those who can, requires top notch gear and high level of concentration, potentially playing a few seconds of the track multiple times just to be sure! And I am not even talking about the better codecs than mp3! Most people in the music industry, at least on the technical or recording side, know that high quality compressed files are amazing in quality and what really can make the difference between CD quality/high quality compressed and high resolution audio isn't the size or compression but the effort put into the recording and the mixing of the track, if that is done properly then even the compressed file will sound fantastic and will be impossible to differentiate from the high resolution file in a double blind test. (And, to be realistic, I can't hear anything above 14.5kHz anymore so I won't be missing anything above that in my music files but, I don't want to deprive teenagers from their high frequencies)

bought my first pair of pmc speakers back in april and ive personally owned adam, tannoy, genelec, krk and emotiva, nothing is better than pmc speakers, theyre just better

Do they measure better than the twenty.5 line? Sadly they had nothing of neutrality in theyre measurements, nothing of a Studio or Hifi Speaker. Hope them are better.

I bought a pair of PMC twenty.21. I liked them, but Joni Mitchell sounded odd, and they didn’t play metal and rock that well. Roll on six years and I saw frequency reponse measurements. Wow. No wonder some music sounds wrong. The FR is all over the place, with a bass peak, and a huge treble peak. I sold them and replaced them with proper speakers, Kef LS50 Meta. Now Joni Mitchell sounds right, they play all genres well, even bad recordings are okay, or at least as okay as is possible, because the frequency response is near flat. The PMC speakers were very nicely made. But they are massively overpriced, and heavily voiced. The Kefs are half the price of the current PMC twenty5.21i. I suspect the pro PMC monitors are good, but the home speakers are worse than mediocre. In fact given the price they are shockingly poor. Yes I have auditioned the latest version. They were noticeably trebly.

I built an atmos room with pmc ci speakers. They sound great but one of the surround speakers was not functioning. Instead of being a stand up company they are not wanting to replace the speaker. They said they want to send out new drivers. I was even asked if I know someone who can fix it. That is not how you handle a warranty issue for a luxury product. This is a surround speaker for thousands of dollars. Really? So buy pmc if you like great sound accompanied by terrible company ethics.

Is the placement of the monitors correct? It seems to me that the Left Monitor is placed to the Right and vice-versa?

Why are the monitors positioned this way in this video? It seems to me that the Left Monitor should be the Right Monitor? Simple preference? I thought they came labeled as RIGHT and LEFT and they should follow that structure?

If I spend $65,000 on a pair of speakers, I seriously doubt I would put it together myself. I am pretty sure the dealer will have well-trained staff who would come along with the delivery. Just saying.😆

Absolutely fantastic! I never feel this emotional connection with a pair of speakers and I´m totally agree when I heard PMCs speakers long time ago I feel very emotional for the clarity and the way that amazing way music sound trough them, the speakers sound like nothing I heard before. Recently I have the opportunity of heard the biggest set up of PMC 6 and an entire Atmos room set up with PMCs and feel again very impress but at the same time very shock for the clarity, the honestly and the beautiful sound they deliver again and is absolutely emotive and organic and very difficult to explain in words the connection this speakers create with your emotions is just unbelievable I dont´t want to work again with any other speakers after experience PMCs sound...
